​Responsibilities included:

  • moving this major gifts organization from $35 Million to an annual total of over $120 Million;

  • supervision and coaching of 11 regional executive directors, the

  • vice-presidents for planned giving and foundations and the director of prospect research;

  • direct solicitation of major gifts of six and seven figures, developed and trained a strong cadre of lay leadership;

  • worked with an outside direct mail specialist;

  • developed and implemented intensive staff training programs and retreats as well as bi-weekly staff meetings.

Oversaw all aspects of the operation including supervision of key staff, the Board of Directors, development and oversight of budget of over a $3 Million and oversight of physical plants on multiple sites: The JCC encompassed a day and an overnight camp and a main facility of 120,000 square feet.  Oversight and implementation of a $9 Million capital expansion.
